                                             Mom was a little nervous with 
                               the giraffe right behind us--she 
                               wanted to hurry & get the picture
                               and get back in the jeep

                                             These guys wondered what
                                             we were all about...they just 
                                stared at us!

                                       
                                            Elder Benich was feeding this
                               one a can of Fanta Orange...
                               and he liked it!  He drank the
                               the entire can in one gulp!

                                             The elephants would walk up to
                             the rock and spread their trunks
                             on top ready to be fed. We would 
                             take a handful of feed and drop it
                             into their trunk. Even their baby 
                             next to them waited his turn.

                                          Now this was a feat! Trying to 
                             step out onto his back. It made 
                             you feel like you were going to fall
                             and hope he didn't decide to move
                             before you got on....Kind of scary!
